firstly primers are just great, they feel lovely on the skin and really make your skin feel smooth and really prepare your face into the perfect canvas, ready to be painted on.
The MAC prep +prime is lovely and is really worth what you spend, it lasts a long way mainly because you just need a tiny bit that covers your entire face. the primer is really light weight and has a lovely pearly sheen to it and goes on hassle free. It also claims to safe guard your skin and act as a barrier between your skin and what ever products you apply over it, which results in decreased blocked pores.
I love this primer and have used it quite a lot but mostly in the winter weather or when i travel to cooler climates where my skin does not tend to get too oily. my skin atleast seems to get very glow-ly and shinny in the summers when i use this product, especially if i am out in the sun which is the only complaint i have and that it does not contain an SPF in it which forces me to wear on underneath it.
The LAURA MERCIER primer on the other hand is just amazing. it also is lightweight and goes on really nicely over the skin in no time at all. it is mostly transparent and is not pearly like the MAC one, which actually is nice in the sense that it has no chance of interfering with what ever make up look one would choose; whether it be matte or glossy. i really feel that this product makes your makeup last a whole lot longer and really helps achieve your foundations capabilities to their utmost. one of the best things about this primer is that it does not make your skin sticky or oily and just goes really well whether be it summers or winters what ever the skin type... A WINNER! :)
Great tips! Do keep them coming, looking forward to more ideas from you!
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your blog. My only request will be if you could post pictures step by step on how to use eye shadow make up and videos will be good. I'm also hoping you will be able to consult products for those on the more tan skin as I come from a mix parentage of German, Italian and Indian. I have a very tan colour.
Post more pictures of the application process and so on. But overall good job girl. XOXO

OMG really. hahaha thats awesome. I really would like to see pictures step by step of creating a day look, date, wedding and stuff. Will be pretty cool and perhaps consult colours for tan skin people like me. Stuff like from the primer application to foundation and stuff like that. Haha thats alot i know, but i've been trying them following tutorials somehow it ain't working that well. So I just line my eyes, slap mascara and max factor translucent powder. Sad pretty much.
